From Boeri, this lightweight hard shell helmet is designed specifically for non-motorized snow sports (snowboarding, skiing, skijoring, inner-tubing, and more). Its sleek nylon hard shell exterior is subtly vented to let air flow through without excess cooling.

This helmet addresses the issues of weight and heat better than any helmet on the market. The variable wall thickness shell eliminates the extra weight. The shell is actually slightly thinner around the ears for comfort and flex. The Outlast® foam technology comfort liner works with the custom chimney venting to shed excess heat and provide Constant Temperature Maintenance.

Inside, a thick foam interior absorbs impact, if necessary, and the Outlast(R) poly-blend fabric lining wicks away moisture for added comfort. Extended neck coverage and earflaps help keep out the cold. Adjustable web straps have a soft, fleece chin piece and sturdy impact-resistant nylon buckles. Large ear vents provide for excellent hearing. The helmet weighs only 19.5 oz. year 2003 model.
